Carbon- Graphite stirring rod is 1″ in Diameter and is 12″ long, for large volume mixing. Rod is used when melting large amounts of metal in the larger size crucibles. Graphite rod will last longer and mix larger volumes of metal in the molten state. The 12″ length give the user good strength and ease of mixing.
Stir your precious metals, scrap metals, while melting. The carbon rod can be used when melting metals in Gas or Electric Melting Furnaces.
Rod is used for stirring the molten metal in order to get a good homogenous mix of the alloys in Gold, Silver, Brass as well as other metals.
Carbon stirring rods are made of high density fine grain graphite.
