This auction is for a Elkhorn by Getzen 4 Valve Double French Horn. Serial Number is 66783. Made in Elkhorn Wisc. USA. Comes with the Case and a Holton Farkas Model MDC Mouthpiece.

e french horn is in overall good condition. It is not the prettiest horn but it plays and sounds good to me. It could use cleaning and polishing to look and sound its best.
The four valves operate smoothly and feel good when played and the tuning slides are all free and slide well.
There is a fair amount of lacquer wear and scratches and smaller dings throughout as you can see but no real large dents. The case has worn covering inside and could use cleaning but otherwise a good solid case to use. The  mouthpiece could use polishing and has some plating wear but still ok to use.
