This is a Brand New Stainless 2-1/4″ 2.21″ 56mm OD Internal Hook Circlip Snap Retaining Ring, made for the US Military, Part # MS16631-4200
At a hard 51 Rockwell, this stainless steel circlip is no doubt the most durable, highest quality piece of fastening hardware you’ll find on eBay. Outside is close to 2-1/4″ at an exact 2.21 inches, or 55.8 millimeters. A nice, tight fit if you need a 56mm circlip, but a little play if you need a 2.25 inch circlip. Outside edge is beveled on one side.
